1987 fj60. Just dropped my tank and ordered a new fuel sending unit and pickup tubes. My question is for toyota 77023-22040, pickup tube filter. Looks like it’s only on years 86 and 87. Is it necessary?
The fuel tank was recalled in 91’. The vehicle has been idle since 05’, that’s why I’m cleaning the entire fuel system.
I can only find the part coming out of Australia and UAE. I’ll call my local dealerships in the morning but they are usually over priced if they have the part.
