My '63 appears to have an aftermarket heater from Eaton.
Does anyone have a pic of a replacement heater assembly for this truck (and source for it) - mine is shot?
SOR does not seem to have a heater that would work.

PS - Did these trucks originally have an option to come without a heater??

This pic appears to have the same option:

63 may have had the option of a factory installed heater in the center(like most 40's, if so the fuse panel would be offset to the DS, if no OEM heater, fuse panel dead center of firewall) or it may have had this optional OEM heater....of which I happen to have 1 :)

Yes, some 45s came stock without heaters. You would have 4 threaded holes in the firewall ahead of the trans tunnel to mount a heater if yours came with one [along with the louvered vent in the side of the cowl]

If yours is a heater model and you need one, I have a couple for sale.

Best
