I have a City Racer distributor (19100-61180) and just switched my old Pertronix ignition out to the 1662LS. After reinstalling, I thought it would only need a minor adjustment on timing, but I can't turn the distributor enough to even see the BB. When I turn the dizzy, it has a short range, and I can see the adjustment bracket moving when I turn it.

The timing was right on the BB before doing this. Any suggestions? Sure wish I could take the FJ out in the snow today.
 
Just pull the dizzy out far enough to clear the cam gear, rotate in the direction you want, push back in to engage the cam gear, then re-seat the shaft in the oil pump slot...
