That's like saying here have a glass of puss with your scab sandwich :flipoff2: :D

Based on the recommendations on this forum, I tried a Boddingtons. Tasted great. Got a headache.

Well, thanks for the PCV information but yesterday I got hit in the 80 :-[. The impact was completely on my back right rear wheel which bent the axle housing, shaft, and might have destroyed the carrier I'm not sure yet they haven't opened it up. I asked since they're basically replacing the rear axle if I could get a locking one instead of my original non locking, unfortunatly they said no but at least I tried :D. That said anyone happen to have an old non diff lock rear axle housing they would like to sell, the oem axle housing is looking like it's going to cost a little over a thousand.

Matt you could offer to pay the difference in cost to get a locker or get a used one with locker and have it installed. Or just have them give you a check and you will repair the 80 yourself.
I got hit once and hit a deer. I had them cut me a check. I took the amount that the insurance co offered. We were both happy.

I asked about that they said that because mine was a non diff lock version in the first place they don't want to take the liability for changing it even though all they need to do is what get a locking axle/certain ecu components right? I need them to get it done really soon though otherwise I would take the money and buy the used non diff lock rear Slee-offroad has for sale and an arb locker or find a stock locking one. I'm supposed to drive home (Waco Texas to Knoxville Tennessee) about 1000 miles a week from now and I just don't have time to do this because I have no way to work on it here at school.

I would get a locker housing and a locker RH shaft. They will both fit. you could always get the diff later. If the diff is bad, get a locker diff as well and after it is installed, power it manually to un-lock it (they install in the locked position). It will act just like a non locker. Then you can build a wire harness and get the electrical components at your liesure.

The housings and shafts are about the same price and the diffs are not much different either.
