PCV valce cover grommet

Hi there.

I noticed that the grommet that is on the valve cover for the PCV is not there !!! It has pushed through and when I look in the inside of the cover, there SEEMS to be no access to get it i.e. the flame arrester seems to be non removable.

Do I have to thread it back through the outside??

I think it has to come out the top..... time for the needle noise pliers..... And a good bit of luck!
