Hey, not sure if this is the right place for this, so move/delete if necessary.

I brought my alternator into PC Auto Electric today because the main bolt was, well, half there.

Todd made no promises but said he would have to take it apart and see what was possible.

I told him I had already looked under the cover and when I saw the stud I figured it was time to bring it to a pro.

Within a couple hours the job was done. I was already back home so I sent my wife to go grab it.

Here's what they did:
- Replaced stud/bolt with new (dressed).
- Replaced inner bearing because it was all apart anyways.
- Cleaned and painted outer parts with gloss black paint, making it look almost new.

Cost: $110.

Needless to say, they under-promised and over-delivered...I am very pleased with the results and the service from this business!

Usually you cannot get a alternator out the door for less than 175.00, but great guys at Flesh.

Mud rules.

Point Todd here from PC Auto Electric and see if he's interested in offering a mud discount. I'd much rather keep business in the Cowichan Valley, do we have mud rebuilder?

Bring me all your electrical repairs, I will do them for FREE! well, bring beer and burgers, and download the you tube step by step video, and a can of black spray paint, will look like new! This way even if it doesn't work quite right, the price is right haha
