@paflytyer Sorry for the delay here. I just got back from a week in Sturgis. I'll send you a PM with my cell.

The Gravelly Range between Dillon and Ennis is epic if you've never been. Ruby River fishes well below the reservoir. Virginia City is a fun town to visit along with Ennis and fishing the Upper Madison. Also the Pioneer Mtns West of Dillon are really cool this time of year. And Skalkaho Pass outside Philipsburg. Lots of beautiful country here, so you can't really go wrong, unless you keep to the Interstate.

@ttFJC Goes out every weekend and knows the harder routes. He should write a piece for TLCA. Amazing photos too.

We’re 1300 miles in so far. Thanks to all the 406 family that have reached out. It’s been an epic adventure and we’re only halfway through

Spent the last three days exploring west of Superior and fishing the N Fork Clearwater and St Joe. Some amazing trails mixed in with some thick forest routes.

Amazing fishing on the N Fork

Great visit at Montana State, then Missoula got smashed by weather/wind and U of M lost power (and had some damage) so our tour got canceled. We just headed for the wilderness instead. All the way out in Spokane now. Gonzaga visit tomorrow, then back to U of M on Tuesday, then back thru BZN and south to fish the Taylor Fork and eventually to Cooke City for a few days

Proper pics and trip report next week

Bummer, I missed all of this, I've been out and about in the backcountry doing fishy stuff, and cleaning up from the storm last week. I'm always down to meet up and fish, unfortunately most of the waters in Montana should be left alone for a while due to low water and temperatures.
