Passenger Mirror 2005 LX470 - need replacement or not?

Wife hit a rogue trashcan with passenger side mirror. Only the glass broke, but the mirror keeps folding forward every time you start the vehicle and you have to manually pull it back.
I am guessing it is toast.

Where are some good sources to find a Sand Dollar Pearl passenger side mirror? I have been looking on ebay...

What other year models will fit my 2005? I believe research says 2003-207 will work. I have the auto dim, fold down in reverse, fold in

Your mirror timing fold/unfold is off, that is why it is folding forward. You should be able to get it aligned if you know hot to take it apart.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between a LX and LC mirror of the same year?

Does the LC mirror have auto dim, mirror down in reverse option, fold in mirror, heated... like the LX mirror?

I see part numbers for LC mirror on

87910-60A40-B1 Mirror Assembly for $180;
while here is the Lexus LX part
87940-60A51-E0 Mirror Assembly for $665.92

Anyone dealt with this before?

From doing more searching on the forum it appears LC mirrors
*have* fold in option, heated;
*do not have* auto dim, mirror in reverse option

Anyone else confirm this? My 1999 LC does not have fold in option *they are heated....*

Bump. Can anyone confirm if 06-07 LC mirrors will fit an 06-07 LX as replacement? All I am really interested in is the mirror adjustment control.
