I caught this a few minutes after it was posted, an '83 with free rust around the doors and fenders. Factory 5spd and a few goodies, didn't seem to be worth the $1,000 asking price. It was only a few miles from the g-friend's familie's house. Was it worth the work? or did I screw up big time??

Oh man, you should have grabbed it.
Sheet metal is not that hard and you could replace most parts, I have never seen troopie of that year with diesel.
I have heard of them coming with a 2H and four speed, wonder if that was a H55 and 3B diesel motor?

Damn, that h55 and engine are worth a pile more than what hes asking.

Yeah, that's the problem. I'm in Nebraska and the troopy is in Denmark. It's hard to find somebody that knows anything about cruisers that I can trust. Yes, is a h55/3b combo, plus it's LHD.
The g-friend's brother will go pick it up for me, but he builds guns for a living, he won't know sh*t from sick-um when it comes to cuiser rust.
LOL.......I knew there was a catch 
knew it wasnt in OZ cause its left hand drive, hoping it was in the US 
I dunno.......gonna cost $2k to ship might not be worth the risk and hasell, still got to get it legal in the US. , I only saw 2-3 Cruisers when I was in Denmark......but lots of cute girls
