Parts for adding OEM remote start for an LX570?

Looking to add OEM remote start to an 08 LX570. Google and forum searches did not lead to any definitive part number(I find conflicting) or procedure as most seem to have the dealer do it. If anyone has done this and can shed some light or have access to the part number for the ecu or any instructions that the dealer may have to install I would really appreciate it.

2014 Remote start question

Install wasn’t hard. Biggest pain in be butt was repinning a harness or two behind the glove box. I’m sure with the proper tool, it wouldn’t be bad. I can post later The I stall directions that the Toyota dealer gave me (or a link to the same ones). I had did the install myself and had Mr T do the programming for about an hour of labor. A few days after, I realized that you could get the Techsteam cable for cheap and should be able to program it yourself.

May be in luck, a member from CL shot me the 29 page installation pdf from lexus with every detail including techstream programming instructions. Will see if I can attach it here somehow or can email it to you.

Good to hear it’s not too bad. Was able to track down LX specific instruction but thanks for the offer. Luckily I have a techstrean and it provided all the steps, just need to find the cable.

I wonder if by using a Techstream those of us with dealer-installed remote start can cancel out the "feature" that turns the truck off when you unlock it.
