Thanks to baldboy i have springs, but i am trying to find out how much the rest of my parts will cost, so..........

i need:
2f exhaust header
gear box
3:70 gears for front and back (i know i know, but gas is killing me)
Tailgate (dual doors or single fold down but prefer dual doors)
and the fold up gate for the hard top
rear passenger side glass (all three)

I have found a tub close to home for $500.00, is that reasonable?

Up to the cowl? Not too rusty? Great deal. I sold the one I had which only came up to the seats for $450.

Save the money you'd pay for 3.70s for gas if it makes 1mpg difference, I'd be surprised. You'll just go faster and mpg will drop back down anyway.

The whole tub - the passenger side rocker panel is bent, and there is some surface rust but other than that it is fine. he said i could have the frame and all if i wanted it.

if u mean the rear window and frame for the hard top i will have to check on what year i have its in good shape w/glass but no latch it would be shipped from calif

Yes i believe that is the part i need, if you could check shipping to 74058 i would appreciate it.

Thanks Fast Eddy on the gear issue-
I have been trying to figure out how to increase my MPG and decrease my drive time.
My 40 is rusted out and does not look nearly as good as many I’ve seen but it runs great, and is my daily driver. 41 miles one way, five days a week.
With all the snow, sleet, and ice we have gotten here in Oklahoma it has been great to have. But I have spent a small fortune on gas.
I had even considered doing a diesel conversion, or just selling my FJ and getting a BJ, any thoughts?
