After a bit of research I see that slee has a kit. Nice kit but kinda pricy.
If just selectable hubs are installed then you have to drive with the CDL engaged.
What is the problem with just running it this way?
If a spool is recommended for long time use, instead of the spool for that that kit what about just welding the voids in the spiders of the diff in the t-case?

I did that to several GM 14 bolt FF diffs to lock them up.
I didn't weld the spiders together just the voids in the spiders to keep them from moving.
Drove one for 4 years 90 miles round trip to work every day, wheeled the snot out of it and never had an issue.

Different applications but a diff is a diff right?

That is how mine was done by the PO. Works just fine.

If you do a search for user "king kong" he has pictures of his being done the same way at ACC Toyota.

Hey OP: How long have you had your rig?

It seems like for anyone coming from a part-time 4wd background (me included) the initial inclination is to ditch the AWD. But then it really starts to grow on you; personally, now I'd consider a switch to part-time to be a serious downgrade.

There is that, plus, reports from people who have converted to part time are that you might see 1mpg improvement in fuel efficiency.

I would also like to point out that i am eagerly awaiting an opportunity to ask my passengers to jump out and lock the hubs, when there are in fact no hub locks.

This would preferably happen somewhere wet.

Cool I'll look into that.

I've had the rig less than a month.
I wasn't a fan of the NP203 full time t-case either and that got converted many years ago when I had a rig with that set up.

I don't like the steering characteristics and the added wear to the front isn't worth it to me.
If I lived where there was snow and ice most of the year or it was driven primarily on dirt roads then I would keep it full time.
To be honest I have never had a rig where I thought it would be better if it was full time.
I don't have a problem locking the hubs if needed. Been doing that for quite some time anyway.

The only issue I see using CDL all they time it's kinda defeat the complete purpose of the Part time idea .. coz you will have your front DS spinning all time ..

Here is the thread I was talking about......
