Parking Brake Spring under dash

Could someone be kind enough to post a picture of there original 1977 era handbrake lever to show me how the spring is installed. If I place it where I think it goes it is loose when the lever is pushed in. So loose that the spring is almost falling out of the lower tab that is part of the tub. Maybe something of mine is bent or damaged.

My spring looks the same as the image above and the tab welded to the tub (blue) looks the same. My lever arm has a bracket instead of a bolt to hold the top of the spring.

I can see the one above is loose as well. Maybe that is just how it is supposed to be. Thanks for taking the time everyone.

Bought one and tried it, not even close to fitting...

Adding to this thread - I found this spring at Lowe's that seems to work for the parking brake spring on my 1977 FJ43.
