I recently lifted my 93 LC. When I lifted I also changed the rear diff with a locked one out of a 96 and now I cannot reattach the parking brake cables to the back of the brakes. Is there a way to adjust the cables? Is there a difference in the 93 and 96 parking brake cables? Any and all help is appreciated.

Have you tried loosening the 10mm double nut under your hand brake cover?
Cover has Velcro towards front, open up and pull up, use a deep socket and a wrench on squared end of hand brake cable to loosen the 10mm nuts.
Hope this helps.

No I have not. I will try this and let everyone know. Thank you in advance.

Loosen?

Just be aware that there is a high risk that once it moves it may stick in a new position.

I realize yours has drum on the rear and mine has discs. The one on discs has some common rust problems and they seize and must be hammered loose.

Once it is completed, make sure you use it regularly to keep it loose.

Thank you. My 93 has discs all the way around. The old had discs as well as the donor 96. That's why I assumed it would be a drop in upgrade.
