Boy! Did it take some research to ID those planes. So, for our airshow on Thursday and Friday...

Thursday it was German Tornado's flying up the valley being chased by USN F16's.

Looks like I'll have some extra time off around the end of May. Gotta take a full five days off without pay before June 30, and that's with my 4 percent salary reduction. Sounds like a road trip is in order…

Like I said, it took a lot of research to ID those fly boys. I found that most of our allies send units over here to train with our guys. It seems the European Union does a lot more in Afghanistan that we are led to believe. I've been at the Marine Base in Yuma and saw a whole squadron of Israeli jets on the tarmac. But of course, we sold them and we have to train them.
