Paine Hill CT

Has anyone run Paine Hill in Northeast CT (Nipmuck State Forest)?

I was informed by the CT DEEP that the trail can be used except in the winter.

We used to have a regular trail ride there ages ago

Thinking of doing a run there.

I haven't, but (pending scheduling conflicts) I would be 1000000% up for a run there.

Waiting for a confirming email from CTDEEP. There was some mention awhile back in the NEA4WDC forum about advising them before running the trail.

Joe, I'm in when you find out. Think I did a piece of this trying to get lost one day.

Well, it was fun but no trail maps. Easy stock trails, 1 water crossing and a small obstacle. We never found the old water hole.

Plan is to go back and map trails with Maprika.
