I bought these two batteries in December, with plans to use Slee's battery trays to upgrade to dual batteries. They are still new in their boxes. Unfortunately I could not find a shipper to get them all the way to Africa, where my Cruiser is. I paid $1k for these batteries. Willing to take $700 OBO. Pickup only in Connellsville, PA.

Yes and yes. I had a shipment coming in a sea container - ground and sea the entire journey and the shipper still wouldn't take them, ostensibly based on what the safety data sheet says, despite them being advertised as non-spillable. I also tried DHL multiple times, hoping to get a different answer. I think the issue is that I'm not a commercial customer. Partsouq will gladly DHL a similar battery from Dubai (for about the cost of the battery itself), but I just can't get traction with DHL as a sole retail customer.

That frustrating, so what are your options, limited choices in your current location??

The best battery I can find locally is Hankook brand, which is what I am running now.
