I've got the P0325 code. The only thing I've done recently was pull the TB out to fix the P0401(changed the vsv for egr and the modulator). Got rid of the P0401 but now I've got the P0325. I sure dont remember knocking out any connections. From what I understand the P0325 is the front knock sensor and the P0330 is the rear. The P0330 is the one by the pesky heater hose and the P0325 is the one above the oil filter. I disconnected the small connector for the front knock sensor and it looked fine. The wire seemed fine and so did the inside of the connector. Just wondering if it could really be possible that the sensor it self is bad?
using the search function brought back a couple threads so that leads me to believe that the sensor going bad is very rare. Other than the P0325 car runs fine, just need to clear it up since my smog test is due.

I also had the P0325 and the P0330 checked FSM, checked the wires, then ran the ohm test
Everything seemed to be fine, but I still had both codes. Finally I took it to Safari LTD. And they
replaced the knock sensors and that cleared the codes. They also tested them and thought they
were fine. They were both bad and had to be replaced.
Hope that helps??

Any report on this?

What did the OP do to fix the situation?

Bringing this back. Replaced both O2 sensors today with OEM, a few hours later my CEL came back on. I wasn't happy... and trying to figure out what the heck could possibly be wrong with my 2 new sensors.

I Just went out and pulled the code, it's a P0325. It's still nasty out so I haven't crawled around under there yet, but am wondering if the OP found anything significant to report.

Going to follow the steps outlined by beno tomorrow, will post up if I find something.

I did what Dan suggest. I pulled the sensor and cleaned it. I applied the dielectric grease then reinstalled.
Since you've got two new sensors, it might be time for you to get that the FSM out and go through the troubleshooting section. I think I remember it describing looking for a short between the sensor and ECU.
I will look for that section and try to post the steps.

Just pulled up the FSM with steps on removal and testing the sensor itself.

The new sensors I was referring to were my O2 sensors. I had a CEL come on a few weeks ago that indicated an issue with my upstream O2 sensor, and after some miscommunication with the exhaust shop have now ended up with 2 newly installed OEM O2's.

After they were installed I reset my CEL... only to have it come back on shortly after.

This is the first time I've had this code... I pulled my codes before taking the truck in to have the O2's done and the only one that popped was my O2 sensor.

I'll mess with it in the morning, I'm hoping it's as simple as cleaning it up.
