I failed my emissions test here in California. It was suggested that I change it my oxygen sensors along with several other ideas. As far as I can tell there are two and they are the same item. Can anyone confirm this for me? I ordered 2 Denso 234-4056 Oxygen Sensors. Just hoping I got the right parts.

They fit perfectly once we got the others removed. I tried to do it myself but there was no way I could get the old ones off they were so rusted on. I took it to a mechanic and he was able to remove one and replaced it with the part I provided. But in the process he discovered that my catalytic converter was just a shell. He was not able to change both O2 sensors because one was too rusted in place. He sent me to a muffler shop and they replaced both my cats and installed the other O2 sensor as well no extra charge.

Long story short, the part works it's just a pain to install.
 
Wow yup, that was a brutal install. Had to use an extractor socket and cut one of the sensor shields off in order to remove the old sensors. Thanks for the info.
