Outside Temp Sensor ???

get one of these flat little suction cups thermometers made for the outside of windows and glue it on the winshield? :D
 
OK....I guess the l...o...n...g answer to my question is YES it is an outside temp sensor and NO; no one has been able to use this existing sensor to display outside temp.
