Need help guys. My little old Johnson (motor :flipoff2: ) has had it. I would like to step up the hp enough to ski or pull a tube behind. My boat isn't the most sleek of design, and doesn't have a coast guard rating on it. What size do y'all think I can squeeze on it?

PS - I will probably build a console on the top of the boat so's that I can see better.

Damn that looks like fun. I could hide out in the delta for months on that.

On Topic, I'd go for the one lung diesel inboard.

I figgered the pic would go for a laugh, but I would like to have that thing as my hideaway boat/home. :D

I saw some thing on the Discovery Channel about a place in the Mid West that built custom "Long Shaft" outboards using Harley Evolution engines. I'd go for one of those. Couldn't find a picture of it though....

Beavertail made that. They called it the predator mud motor, but they don't sell it any more.
