I will sit down and write one - even though most of the time that does not accomplish that much.

I have had crappy service from a chain auto repair place (before I decided that I could do it better myself) and I wrote a letter. It was quickly responded to and the matter resolved. The folks in the head office know that if you have the time to write the letter that you probably have the time to start threads like this one too (and those are not good for business)!!

I will sit down and write one - even though most of the time that does not accomplish that much. Hopefully it will actually get us a decent discount for the club.

Where the hell have you been? ever since you sold your 60 I barely even see you posting on here.

And the survey says... BCIT! In my last term and I've been busy with school and not much else, besides the occassional road trip (Tofino a week ago).

I have mostly been lurking ;) Just helped a family member sell their old BJ40.

Take the time with your letter, and send it in to head office... I would also see if anyone else from the club would be in to writing about their experience(s) to complain... official club letterhead would also be a good idea if everyone agrees to it ;)

Catch ya on the flip side :)

I would not get mad at the staff. Even ex employees complain. Lordco has grown to large and loosing its focus on quality of its service. Now, I buy two supposedly us made rotors and one of them was cut unevenly. The caliper is moving in and out ever 1/8 inch. I had to clean lube the glide pins temperately because one of them was dry. rotor thickness on the inner/outer surface was uneven. Guys, check your rotors even if cut new.

You may not expect much quality traits from a employee making not much above minimum wage....and that is the chief complaint from ex employees. You pay less for the part, that is less going into paying employees wages.

Um, what they are doing is illegal... shelf price is the advertised price, and according to the law, they have to sell that to you for that price... heheheh... business law classes rule! Unless they have a HUGE visible sign that says otherwise and alerts you to the price differences, they can not do things like that!

The staff at Lordco are not helpful, and head office needs to train their staff on customer service. Seriously, write in a letter of complaint to head office, and also mention the negative publicity that they will be getting through word of mouth advertising... word of mouth is still the most powerful advertising tool that consumers have control over!

I have had some crappy service from Canon (yep the camera company), Kal-Tire, and a few other businesses that really did a poor job. A letter goes out and lo-and-behold the letter was responded to with an apology and things were made right for everyone involved.

Cheers

I've always been intrigued at how 6 year old threads get found and commented on. :hmm:

I prefer Coquitlam Auto too, they will be moving soon as there is a 26 story tower going in there :/

Their inventory on stuff these days are crap as they have about 6 months left so they are keeping a shallow supply of things.
