@jvalex pointed this out to me on FB. He got things sorted out for the extraction, as well as the bumper removal. He posted a couple pics as well.

Looks like the following night when they finally pulled it out.

He texted me Sunday morning after we left the river spot, got it out at 12:30 Saturday night.

It doesn’t look as bad as I expected. Pictures pretty much tell the story. Guy moved way too far over when we met and slid off the edge. I was pretty much stopped and in the ditch on the uphill side of the road, he misjudged and left about 8 feet between us.
