We have nailed down the dates for Over the Mountain Tour 2015. It will be August 13-16 at Durhamtown Tellico (www.durhamtowntellico.com).
They have given us a huge place to camp together in Doodle's field, we are right on the stream. The camping and riding fees will be taken care of by the staff at the park. We are figuring out a t-shirt and few other things, we'll come up with a registration fee soon and let y'all know. One thing we asked about was if you decided to camp Thursday night and were getting there after they close, they said to just call them ahead of time and they would meet you to get you checked in.
Here is the link to the thread on the UC board: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/otmt-august-2015-tellico.856869/
I hope some of y'all can make it! It's going to be a blast!

Several of us wheeled Durhamtown Tellico last weekend.
Good ride just s little wet. The place has some great trails and they are continuing to build trails. Rob and I plan on making this ride anyone else going?
One issue if you trailer to the main entrance you will have to leave your trailer there , if you have a 4wd tow rig you could take it to the camping areas with out the trailer to haul in gear.

Can't believe we have 70 club members and no one is responding to this ride thread.
This park is up in the mountains where it is a little cooler and there are ponds to swim in if' you get to hot.

Erin and I are planning to go. Already got our spots in the cabin.

Far as no one chiming in, not just this thread, pretty much the whole clubhouse in general for the last 4-6 weeks. Guess everyone is on vacation :meh:

As far as I know it's Mathew and family , Rob, Hailey and Me.
This would be a great place to try out a new 40

Alright folks,

Pre registration is open and will be $25. This will include a t-shirt and a meal on Saturday night. You can PayPal the money to sales@upstatecruisers.net, please list OTMT 2015 in the notes along with your shirt size.

If you register on site at the event it will be $35. Also, additional shirts will be available for $15/each.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Cool, @Teddy E will want a shirt and she likes to eat so I need 2 registrations, right? Will PP when I get to a computer.

Thanks

Yes sir. Excited to see you guys!

Rob and I are registered. Come on guys this will be a great ride at a new park, plenty of hard core trails to break your junk and plenty of moderate trails if you don't want to break.

I'm going to try and make it depending on how the current project on my rig pans out.

Honestly, I'm planning to stick to moderate stuff and just cruise around and take it easy this trip and help any new folks out that may need it. I broke enough at GSMTR and the parts fund is depleted (according to my wife).

We will be taking it easy this trip as well. This will probably be a trip in the 4Runner so easy to moderate will be the flavor of the day.

Hmmm. I might make this one. Truck is pretty much ready except I need a new battery

I'm also still trying to make this ride happen. My question is from Nashville, should I take the 80 with the rear locker for the unlocked 40. No question which one is better on the interstate, but I really want to get the 40 out in the woods . If I had a tow dolly or trailer I would probably drag the 40 , But I'm thinking I could drive the 40 it will just take longer, but then you have issues with things that break and not being able to get back home. I also am not planning on wheeling wild and crazy trails . Hmmm
