Sorry in advance for the total newbie question - electrical isn't my thing.
I'm wiring in an aftermarket OnStar mirror, but I don't know where/how to best tie into the acc wire. I would like to splice in somewhere on the passenger side, under the hood. That's where my power and ground is run down the A-pillar and currently hooked nicely into a fuse block. Thus, right now I have it hooked up to constant power, but seems like that's a bad idea - having GPS and Bluetooth running constantly.
Where can I tap into power that isn't constant - under the hood? What am I missing?
