I’ve never done it before and I’m still on the fence it’s a used turbo but isn’t leaking and was working fine when it came off, but if it’s easy enough to do I might just do it.

If there’s any play in the turbine shaft that’s bad correct most likely would have to order a new assembly or have a shop rebalance?

Yes and no. Play is bad, but you don't necessarily have to buy a new assembly. You can pull apart the chra, then replace the shaft and thrust bearings. I've done that a few times as long as the turbine shaft is in good condition.

A tiny amount of radial play is ok, but axial play is very bad.

What turbo are you working on?

Ok well that doesn’t sound so bad I’ll post up more in TWT once I get into it most likely. Seems to have minimal play all together.

It’s a CT-26 from a Toyota Supra

"Don't Panic"....

Elon Musk is basically what my dad would be if he had infinity money.... That launch was so cool. Haven't felt that way about space flight in a long time - he makes it exciting again.

Landing the boosters and 1st stage is mind blowing. I am enjoying watching private companies make NASA look bad. It may just put some pride and funding back in NASA as a benefit. The technology is amazing.

I watched the space race on TV in the 60s when I was a kid. I remember sitting on the edge of my grandmother's bed with her watching Neil Armstrong step on the moon. She was amazed, made a couple of comments about Buck Rogers coming true. I was 9

I think it is safe to say that Tesla shattered the altitude record previously held by suzuki.
