long story short. the bar that runs across the seat to activate the recline lock has hardware. they fell out i guess. after a bunch for cussing and hammering i got it close enough to pull my head out of my ass and fix it right.

Some people like those old school Smittybilt bumpers for retro restorations. Looks like the bumper is upside down in that pic. Or maybe my memory of them is.

truck puts the reciever under the lower tube.
