Going through the parts finally, I discovered several things about my pig. When the previous owner tore it apart, they did a great job of disassembling the interior, but not on keeping the parts together. I am missing the window crank handles on all 4 doors, the two "Toyota Land Cruiser" emblems on the front clip, yet have a ****ing lot of spare hinges and swivels, a spare distributor, among other things. I stopped going through the spare parts bucket because the bottom 1/3 was full of misc. crap that I have no idea what it is. Hell, I've never seen a fully assembled FJ55 in real life before because mine is half torn apart!!

Over Christmas break I will take careful inventory of the spare parts that I have, and hopefully you can help identify them for me! I would love to sell them to you guys to help your pigs, in return for help to acquire the 4 crank handles for my 1970, along with the two badges for the front clip. Also, the transmission hump is for a floor shift model, but mine is a three-on-the-tree stock:confused: Do not ask because I do not know... I would be very willing to trade for the correct one if somebody is doing a floor shift conversion or something. Let me know if anything above interests you and I will see what I can do. Thanks guys!!

RE;window cranks

Good day
I might have some window cranks in my stash, If you were closer you could have the three speed trany and transfer that I have (Floor shift) I will get back to you later this week.

Chance:beer:

I'd be able to help with the window cranks, I also have a very nice hump with no holes in it.

Also a side note, I posted pics before, can't find them now. there are 3 different hump, floor pans: pre 72?, 72-75?, and 76 up.

I have a '70 floor hump with 4 small sheet metal screw holes (I think a cb was mounted there) and 4 chrome window cranks. I also have some spare emblems, enough for one fender. pm me. I can get a pic to you with the small fixable holes on the tranny hump for you.

Seems like the way many of us find our piggies! Mine did not run and when we tried putting water in the "newly rebuilt" engine it came out as fast as we could put it in!!

Sweet! Thanks for the help guys. As said before, I will index and post up the spare parts that I have, which you guys can help yourselves to. I just have to make it through finals before then ;)
