Did you ever get this resolved? I just went to put in my OME Stabilizer (granted it is on a 72' 40) and the pin size seems like it's just a bit off. Wondering if this is the issue you were having.? Seems like the pins that come with the kit are somewhere near 5/8" but the hole in my bracket is closer to 7/16". I can't seem to find different pin sizes available online.?. Maybe I'll give Cruiser Outfitters a call tomorrow...

Yeah I purchased from them so I'm sure they'll take care of me. It just occurs to me - If need be I could always ream out the holes a bit...

Figured I'd better let anyone interested know where this one landed. Contacted Cruiser Outfitters and sure enough they pointed me in the right direction. Had all the correct parts. I didn't realize that the pins were intentionally tapered to precisely space the ends of the stabilizer. All together and good. Here's a few pics before I final tightened the hardware.

I just got my OMESD23 for my '82 FJ60 and it is about 3 inches too short. The photo shows the OME at full extension next to the stock stabilizer at the length it came out with wheels straight ahead.

I ordered from Summit.

I'm guessing the wrong part was in box, as the box is labeled correctly. It came with all the hardware, but there was no OME branding or lettering on it. Just yellow body.

SD23 is the 40/55 variant. Much shorter than the 6x variant.

You need the SD24

Thank you, lesson learned! Summit's website shows this for the 6x for my model year. Going to return it and order from Cruiser Outfitters.
