Well, just realized I have my lift numbers backwards, should be 3/4" for rear and 2" for front. Sorry about that.

I've located my little sticky note with part#s.

Front:
3/4" lift
702 springs
N208 shocks

Rear:
2" lift minimum
4##lbs constant load
723 springs
N210 shocks

Ready to install tomorrow while in San Antonio. The drive back should be different.

Ok, ok, I get it.:wrench:Will have pics posted this afternoon. Install put me behind the 8-ball and playing catchup.

Ok, if all goes well, here are my after pics. Yes, there is lots of space in fender wells but I like the look for now. Towed 1/4 load camp trailer earlier this morning and it had not impact!

Looks good...now you need to get rid of running boards and the front bumper :) :p

Ok guys. Thanks vince for chiming in while I was gone playing in Moab. We will have the 702's in for boots monday or tuesday. Talking with ARB this is definetly the problem. no bumper or winch the springs are netting out to much lift. I would how ever recommend anyone trying to net out more than 2" of lift to get the TC upper control arms. We netted almost 3" of lift on the first 200 we did and it had no bumper and it aligned perfectly with the arms.

cam

Sounds like you got it under control Smty!!

Are you going to take care of that front rake?

Are you going to take care of that front rake?

At this point, no. Future plans call for a rear bumper, which combined with loaded springs, may level it off a bit. As for now, and with the rake in general, I don't mind as it provides a bit more visual clarity over the hood.

This process was a definite learning experience. We now know that you cannot put any spring heavier than a 702 on the front without either altering the UCAs (maybe) or adding a bar/winch to the front to pull the springs down and keep the camber within spec. I hope folks can learn from this.

Cam and Vince at IPOR were great. This is a real customer focused shop! Anyone in the mid-atlantic region should seek these guys out for; advice, questions and installation work. When I was getting the springs swapped out today there was another MUD member in there with a 200 looking to get the works done (suspension, roof rack, front and rear bumper and tires) on a stock rig. I wish I had the available cash to do all of that right now too.

It's good to know that the IPOR guys have the experience on these vehicles to be able do it. Most installers haven't even seen one yet (like the guys I used in Arlington, VA). If there is something they don't understand they will do the homework to figure it it out.

BootsCUA,

It was good to meet another 200 owner, and by the way your truck looks good.

I have to agree with Boots about IPOR, Cam was great to work with.
