hey guys, I haven't heard anyone talk about gas mileage....
although I have given up on seeing over 14 MPG, this might be important for Stress Puppy.
I've heard some good arguments that in a given tire style, the 305 will get worse mileage than the 295 due to extra weight and wind resistance. I have seen no documented evidence on this, but it makes sense and I thought I'd throw it into the mix.
I just put the OME Heavy lift on my 93 tonight and am interested to see what it does to mileage.
I have been running with the 295 Truxus for over a year now and know what my range is....... 12-14 MPG
I expect that the higher vehicle, with more exposed tire will bring my mileage down another notch or two.....
----edit: I meant to say 285/75/16 tires NOT 295 tires. And I am running the 285/75/16 truxus. Sorry for the confusion!-----
