Gents,

just a quick up date the new lift and UCAa are on. Only thing left to sort out is the alignment. below are my measurements from the center of hub to bottom of fender lip.

Over all driving impressions are ok. Ill report back after the alignment is complete.

Lift is OME setup Medium FR and Med RR
SPC Adjustable Control Arms
Tires are BFG AT 285/65/18

DSF--19.75-->21.75
PSF--19.75-->21.75

DSR--20.75-->23.00
PSR--20.75-->23.00

looks really good, is the ride noticeable stiffer with the OME suspension?

^X2 Looks really good

the ride so far is great. The nose dive which we all have experienced is almost gone. I have not really tested because my algnment is waay off, which will be sorted tomorrow. Ill post up my observations once complete.

BTW--I would like to plug Jewell Bohannon from Bohannon's 4x4 in Bentonville for getting this lift fitted without issue. The KDSS is very straight forward as long as the proper procedures are followed. The truck has perfect measurements all the way around.

Looks great! Thanks for the measurements too.

Update?? How's the setup so far?

bump... how's the ride? how much did it cost installed? are ya happy with it?

I'll bump again. Looks great...would love to know how much $$?

Sorry for the late reply. The lift has been on for about 10k miles and the ride is awesome. We have a farm that has some crappy roads and the new suspension is great at handling the conditions--even at speed. I will most likely get the heavy springs in the front next year when I get the new bumper and winch. I got all the stuff from slee so best to call him and price. Definitely worth the money!

Again, looks great...that's probably the route I'll take. I noticed you have 285/65/18's on there. I had assumed those would fit stock as well. How close are you to stuffing those? I'm wondering if 285/70/18's will fit with the 2" lift.

I will need some new tires in the next 15k and have wondered what the largest tire I could get without having to trim anything. The 285/65/18's were installed with stock suspension. There was about 1/8" at full lock and stuffed from the back of the wheel well at the front. After the lift I only gained about an 1" of clearance from that same spot. I obviously gained more space above tire. I'll try to snap some pics tomorrow.

What did this set up do to your mileage, etc? How long did you run tires before the lift?

Looks great! We are almost twins! (2008, same color with BFG's & lift from OME)
Will look even better when you remove the running boards. ;)

Then...when the wifey complains about the entry height...you casually mention that you really should add sliders--that will serve as not only a step...but will also help protect her from side-impact crashes & vehicle damage. Heehee...

Curious about suspension feel.
If you have mediums without any additional weight (bumpers, drawers, or etc.), I'd imagine it may feel a tad stiff.
How would you describe the ride at this point?

The good news is... -Then you tell wifey that "this truck was really meant to carry more protective bumpers...which will also smooth out the ride. The best part? All true!
