Older Ramsey 9,000 synthetic cable advice please (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, I'm on overload after searching, and some of the posts are pretty old... I would like to replace the cable on my older Ramsey with synthetic. I read that on the Warn, other things need replaced. Winch is used sparingly (I know, I need to have more fun), please help with suggestions on winch type, brand, and what other parts are needed to attach. Appreciate any advice!

No need to really replace anything.
Make sure drum is clean and burr free.
Maybe swap fairlead to aluminum, thats typically the only change from typical setups.

5/16 or 3/8. General rule is 1.5x vehicle weight.
