I have seen worse.
The 2L-TE engine needs some serious care, especially the cooling system. Check the threads about it; the search function (or a search engine) on this site is your friend.
Remember that it is a small engine moving a rather big vehicle. It is not fast, and it needs time to cool down after sustained loads (high speed/rpm and going uphill) before shutting off.
You can use parts from a 77 or a 76 Series to patch the rust damage.
