it ain't me, its the truck, i promise. :D

i keep "discovering" things as i go along. lots of hidden gremlins, especially in the rust department. i'm just trying to keep it on life support at this point. i don't see myself ever trying to sell this thing, so i might as well rip all the carpet out and bedline it and start trying to get it prepared to be a trail rig....won't be any need for carpet as a trail rig anyway.

I say skip the bedlining and put some of that green ass-tro turf carpet that people used to put on their patios (indoor/outdoor carpet?) - that will look sweet.

What you need are some drain holes. :D

I nearly suggested that, but you know...trade secret and all...

Heh heh, my friend has that in his 72 Blazer. :D Doesn't make it any less likely to rust, but it's pretty maintenance free, which should appeal to Patride. :D

Patride,

I used a *new* gasket when I pulled the window and replaced it. The gasket will take a little bit of time to seal up to the paint. Leaving it out in the sun will help.

I've got my carpet partially up because I'm expecting the new gasket to leak for a while until it seals up correctly.
