Oil Leak

Hello,

I noticed that I have a leak here of what it seems like oil. I have replaced the hose OEM along with the PCV. Any idea what causing this?

Am I going to need an oil catcher?

Every 1FZ-FE needs an oil separator after the PCV. That said, every one runs just fine without it. It's up to you – how clean do you want your engine to be?

Probably wouldnt really be showing that much residue if the hose were sealed properly (would just stay in the PCV system. Needs a constant tension clamp, not a worm clamp.

Agree with @Malleus, there was a thread (EPIC Cruisers - Oil Catch Can Kit - NOW AVAILABLE! - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/epic-cruisers-oil-catch-can-kit-now-available.1335615/) not long ago - a member put together a kit for a catch can that had a mount and all. It's not the cheapest but it seem to be a setup and if convenience is key over money it may be an option.

Also, the hose you show in the picture is not the PCV hose (PCV is to the right of that one) and both should have constant tension clamps.
