how much oil should i put in my '74 LC its got the stock F engine, i read 7.5 quarts for the 2F but.....nothing on the F

Well. Mine takes 7.5 quarts every time!
Mine is a '74 F and if I just blindly put in 7.5 it leaks,so I put in 7 and add as necessary to get where it says full on the dipstick.
So.....I'm no help

What leaks?
Well, I think it is just the rear main and around the distributor. Haven't done much investigating because I'm switching motors.
