They look well built.
It's interesting how here in the US almost everyone runs the full OME setup, while over in AU they all have unique systems. Some are running billstein shocks with king springs. Lots of people in AU run PolyAir airbags in the rear. Haven't heard of anyone doing airbags over here.
Over here, I've heard mixed feelings about the ICON stuff among other brands. Seems that even those with ICON's setup on a 200 eventually change them over to OME and are happier.
Not sure exactly why that is, but interesting none the less.

The shocks above are Ohlins latest great TTX. Twin tube (not emulsion though), high speed compression, low speed compression, and rebound adjustable. The last 1.5" of travel has Ohlins PDS Progressive Dampening System. It's basically another small tube and piston inside the main body, no more bottoming out.
Huh, I thought you guys would be all over something like this..... Guess these shocks will be slumming it on Tundras.
I think most are just going with OME's because they are specially built for the 200-series.
The shocks are different from the Tundras. Frankly, I would have no clue how to order these not knowing if they have been tested on a 200-series.
With the 200, you have to be very careful how you lift it. There is not much room for alignment and with the front end, any more than 2" is going to put you out of spec.

Yes, the Tundra has a different shock as it uses the longer A-arms... those allow more travel and will support more lift w/o alignment issues. Otherwise the 200 and Tundra front suspensions are the same beast. Different valving is not an issue, get a stock shock on the dyno for the baseline and go. These shocks can be run soft and bottoming out is not an issue.... these are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond the OME shocks.
I would be all over something like this, but as JB mentioned, there are issues with the suspension and how high you can go.
In my opinion, if these ohlins were offered with different arms (like a full long travel kit) now you are talking. In the meantime, the bombproof OMEs will have to do.

It would not be difficult to produce a shorter version for the Land Cruiser.
From what I have gathered so far, the Tundra arms would probably bolt into a 200. One would need the tie rods and axle shafts too. Depending on how far things stick out, fender mods might be required.

Yup, I still have mine.
I can't wait to see how this turns out! How do those shocks do on the Tundra??
I have been gone for a while...illness and work. Anyone running these yet?

Had the fronts on for a short time last year, they work just as good on the LC as they did on the Tundra. As soon as winter is done, front and rear shocks will be mounted back up with their new tweaks. Are you interested in a set?
