What the hell is that.

Hang on a sec ...

I don't hear the stereo in the shop no more.

They got 'er spliced back together though and all is well in the shop again.

Ended up diggin' 560 feet of trench.

Gonna tie into the original water line off the well goin' to the house.

Kept runnin' down the back fenceline behind the shop. Gonna "t"-off into the back of the shop for a wash basin that will just drain back outside. Be the only green grass I'll have. :grinpimp:

Goin' 'round the corner and down the side of the shop to install a freeze-proof faucet on the corner and then put a cap to someday plumb in the Critter trough. :bounce: :bounce:

Fro laid the 1 inch PVC all the way to the well and I back filled the trench from the road to the back fence. Try to finish up this weekend if'n I get home.

But the biggest improvement by far is on the inside ...

I bought 'er at gift shop at Graceland and hauled 'er home ...

a gen-u-ine black-velvet picture of Elvis. :bounce: :bounce2: :grinpimp: :grinpimp: :bounce2: :bounce:

Spent my week off slavin' in the yard tryin' to shape 'er up after all the rain ... and make some new headway.

Debbie bought me a bad-ass Stihl weed-eater ... one of them with the handlebars on it. :bounce2::cheers::bounce2:

Attacked the bar-ditch with the thang to clear 'er out. First time it's ever been cleared By Gawd.

The clump I had to leave in the middle was due to a mess of bees that were livin' there.:eek:

Josh came over Saturday and shredded my pasture for the Critters and we pulled down that front fence and then he shredded that high spot too. Bees were mighty pissed. :grinpimp:

So why's all this s*** goin' down??

Cuzz I gotta move the fence between the yard and the pasture over 25 feet to make room for a new driveway to get to my new carport. What new carport you ask??

Well gotta have a Suite ready for the arrival of The Presidential Suite ... and the Critters needed a new house to replace the one the storm tore apart.

Talking about rule #1 "Gotta look good" that's very well done Sir!

Is that Josh's Bus under the car port?

More news from the homefront ...

The fella done built the new fence from the southern corner of the Critter House all the way to the road ... with some new gates of course.

Means the other fella can put in my driveway now. :grinpimp:

So if'n this all comes together right ... when I get home in a coupla weeks, The Presidential Suite should be done ... and I'll actu'lly have a way to get 'er into the yard to 'er parkin' spot.

Life is good.

:flamingo:

Here's the new driveway.

The clean dirt is where the front fence/weeds used to be. Hauled alot of dirt out to level the area some so can mow all the way to the county road next spring when the grass grows back.

That's 40 ft of 12" culvert there under a big sweeping turn into the yard so the the big trailer can enter with ease. The new fence is on the south side of the driveway and runs from the road to the new critter house. Graveled a LARGE turning area in front of the shop for all-weather access. Small misunderstanding that gravel didn't also get spread in front of the critter house. That's where my little car trailer will be parked and he's taking care of this now.

Great comparison to go back to pictures in posts #1 and #2 of this thread. :D

So working our way from North to South ....

Door #1

This is the area for winter social activities with the wood burning stove on the back wall. Unfortunately, you can see little progress has been made in awhile on The Modern Art Project. It's time will come though.

Door #4

Custom parkin' for the ridin' lawn mower.

Stairs go up to the loft. That's my ol' Chevy streetrod under the car cover in storage mode ... it's day will come also.

Gettin' close to havin' this project complete.

Still gotta wire up the shop with switches, outlets, and lights. Need to run a telephone line out there as well. Add some drop-down shades and fans for the front awning area. Closer than I've ever been though. :grinpimp:

Now if I can only get some of this s*** paid for ....
