Despite a bunch of research, I missed the fact that 2008 - 2015 LC 200 have wheels have 60mm offset and 2016+ have 56mm offset. I can only find one post that sort of addresses this. It seems like people are running 60mm Tundra wheels, but often they don't specify what year LC they have.

Basically, I have a 2018 LC 200 and I bought some stock wheels from a 2009 LC 200. Since these will move inward a few cm, is this going to cause a problem running into anything or will the wheels just look more inset in the wheel wells w/o any interference?

Many thanks for input.

4mm is not much. I wouldn't worry about it.

EDIT: You could always run a taller tire.

...I'm curious, do the 2016+ spec a taller tire? If so, that would explain the different offset.

Sorry, I should have mentioned the tire.

On my stock 2018 rims I have BFG K02 LT285/60 R18 and I ordered some Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV tires in the same 285/60 R18 size that I plan to mount on the 2009 wheels.

My guess is the slight increase in outboard offset for the 16+ wheels are to better fill the slightly wider fenders?

So you are at 31.5"

If you want to be precise, you could go to 285/65 R18 and you would be about perfect.

It doesn't look like the tire size changed in 2016 so the 4mm may have just been some fine tuning on Toyota part. That, or they anticipate consumers will likely be running larger tires at some point.

i don't think 4mm will cause you any trouble at all unless you get a bit taller. You can just mount the wheel and then look at the gap to the UCA vs on the other side
