How does this thing work? Do we need to make camping reservations? I've never been to this ride. We need to be near the beer drankin' that's for damn sure.

Later,

Once Mike checks on our RV sites we'll have a better idea what we got but I'm sure we can squeeze ya'll in somewhere. As always, the beer drinkin's gonna be at The Commune. :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

I'll call er back Monday and check on the RV sites. She sounded like she had an area set out for the "rowdy crowd" in the tent camping area. Not sure how close the tent camp sites are to where the commune will be tho...try to download a map of the area now. Wouldn't hurt nuthin to make reservations in that same area, I think as along as you give $15 for the weekend they prolly won't care too much. Phone number is 501.625.3600 for the office.

Here's the layout for ya'll beginners. Ya drive thru the gate at the main entrance. (Ya need to make damn sure the gate is open 'fore ya do this.)

Ya drive just a real short spell and on your right is a large parkin' lot for tow rigs and day visitors. Plenty of room there.

On your left, (that would be across the road your drivin' on from the parkin' lot I just described that's on the right) is the entry to the various RV sites, all lined up one after 'nuther. If'n ya go past the last RV site on your left and make a hard left turn, ya would be on the little dirt road to the tent sites. The tent sites are right behind the RV sites. The White Trash Commune will be established in the last 4 RV sites ya come to. The furthest tent site from The Commune is still well within the range of a good holler.

So the point of this here story is that if'n your lookin' for a nice quiet, peaceful nite's sleep, ya best not be at the park. :flipoff2:

:flamingo:

Done talked to Fro. We gonna head up with both my junk and The Beater Thursday mornin'. Reckon that'll have us rollin' in mid afternoon. :D

Gonna commence to drinkin' and settin' up The Commune soon as we get there. :bounce2: :bounce2:

Whether or not The Beater will drive off the trailer or have to be pushed off is yet to be determined. :grinpimp:

But, By Gawd, she'll be right there in The Commune either way. :flipoff2:

Lasagna, SuperSam, Heavy S and myself leave Atlanta at 6am. Should arrive 4ish and ready to drink.

The campsites are in a wooded area accross a small creek. I camp there every year and manage to get some sleep. Between 2am and 6am mostly!

Was down at the park on Saturday and checked out 3 new trails that I'll take ya'll to. One is a 4 rated and the other 2 are 5's. Good trails with big rocks and ledges and slabs. You guys will get a ton of wheeling in. Bring spare parts!

Pat is always there. Dave will be around I'm sure but he doesn't own a cruiser anymore. Forrest hasn't been down much but I'll check with him and find out.
I'm not gonna make it to GSMTR.
