the Roundup is creeping closer...

GET BUSY!!!

Got the front axle mocked up under it, to make the pinion set where it needs to be the whole mess sets 2 7/8'' to the left. This makes the RH wheel look real good in the fender, but the LH looks stupid:ban: What to do?? After lots of deep thought and heavy drankin I'm gonna cut 2 7/8'' out between the spring pad and knuckle on the left side then sleeve it and weld it back together this weekend:D anyway if Nolan reads this, I may need some sort o calming pills or somthin before I go to hackin on my axle:bounce2: Josh

Gawd knows I ain't much on the technical aspects of this hobby ....

but it seems to me the only solution at this point is to throw out the one-ton stuff and go with Rockwells. :grinpimp:

Why not just outboard the springs? Save having to have an axle shortened and then not have a spare.
That would move the pinion over under the frame rail on the right side. Plan is to have both the chrom-moly and the stocker shortened so I will have a spare. Talked to Harold today, he can machine the dually hubs down so I wont have to buy the single wheel stuff:bounce2: Josh
