Yet another awesome event from the Master Planners at Cottonland Cruisers! A huge Thank You to all the Cottonland Bunch, the Bayou State Boys, all the sponsors and supporters, Jess for a great meal, and all involved! We had a great time and felt like family the whole weekend. Tired, dirty, sore and can't wait to do it all again!

On a side note, I would like to extend a public thanks to both Mark and Georg for the unbelievable lesson in generosity they demonstrated at the raffle last evening. Not only did it impress me, but it sparked a wonderful conversation with our 12 year old. Thank you both for a most valuable and powerful lesson in selfless and honorable behavior! Both rare men indeed!

As the eventual benefactor of these acts let me say I was almost moved to tears.......first by Mark....then when Georg tossed the winning ticket over, with instructions to enjoy and hand it over to Deb with a big hug......2 really amazing guys.
You guys at Cottonland are a huge part of LSLC's extended family.

Another fantastic event and a club favorite. Thanks to all you Cottonland folks for all the hard work and details you put in to make this such a fantastic and hospitable event time after time. I really need a week to visit with everyone I'd like to visit with and get all the wheeling our group needs to get in we sometimes miss out on the visiting we'd like to do. Hope everyone had a safe ride/flight home and looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Congrats

Looking at Daryl's post, not much to add in the appreciation category. But I always feel better when I say it myself.
Great event Cottonland Cruisers. I don't know all the names, but I want to express my thax for all the work that goes into planning & pulling off that weekend. And with the acceptance ya'll extent to me (& most everybody else), I'm beginning to believe that some of you folks are extended family. Bodean, can I borrow $50, pay you back next week.
Another personal thax to the sponsors. It's really a cool thing to met some of the leading folks in the industry and I appreciate the support. Mark, the Carnage award is already boxed up ready for shipping.

A sincere thax
Stacey

PS. Hey BJ, the park looked to be in good shape, nice work.

What an awesome weekend!

I echo gratitude to those that planned and pulled off this wonder. I don't think anyone left the park without a smile on their face and a small tear of joy.

I'd like to give a public thanks to "starter-starter" Georg for his help on Ingrid's. Right before I twisted up my rear springs, he mentioned I should look into a trac-bar. That's been moved a little higher on the list of to-do's.

This is my first time to wheel my rig in 11 months, and I'm really glad I made this event the first in a long time. I think I'll pass on offers to ride shotty in the future if I can help it.

Great people, great food, great wheelin' and great times. I look forward to the next

Perfectly said......Great people and Great times.

You can't ask for a better group of friends.

I am always ready for the next time we can all get together.

Thanks to everyone involved. We had a great time!:cool:

I'm still in awe of my great success in the driver's raffle! Odd thing, though... Everywhere Obama and I go now we're surrounded by a bunch of bobble-headed secret service guys. :grinpimp:

I tossed up a few pics of our mild wheeling over in the SCC thread in the RLC forum.

Thanks again!

All -

Thanks for the great weekend...Randi and I enjoyed ourselves and to know that not only did we all have a wonderful weekend...but, more importantly that the funds we raised will have a positive impact on a family somewhere. A family that made the ultimate sacrifice so, that we can enjoy weekends like we just experienced.

I want to thank Lenny, Sheila, Chris, Deb, Jess, Greg, Rob, Jeff, Mike, Spivey, the Grogans, JRob, Stacey, David, Val, and all the other CLC folks who continue to make this a wonderful event and more importantly...make the CLC an awesome family!

A special thanks to the other clubs' members...Butch, Daryl, Cowboy, etc. for supporting us and more importantly being great friends and extended family members of CLC.

Also, a special thanks to Mr. MetalTech (Mark) and Woody for coming to the Crawl and more importantly for being cool guys to hang out and wheel with. Mark - I am going to order one or two of those XS MetalTech work shirts!

Lastly, the quote of the weekend from Randi..."I now appreciate all your truck junk"...it was her first time to go wheeling.

I want to say Thanks to all of you guys for a great event!

I did not have a chance to wheel w/ you guys this time since my truck was acting rare and I had not done any maintenance on my steering components in a long time and I was afraid of tearing things apart on the way home, that would be 13hrs driving(found me a new route)

This was quite an event!

I will do it again!

Friday nite, was Priceless!:hillbilly:

Fantastic Event--Thank you!

Hey guys and gals,

Just wanted to thank Cotton Land for an awesome event. My brother, wife, and two children had an AWESOME TIME. My off-road experience before this last weekend was mainly southern Arkansas and Mississippi mud and anywhere I could get on a four wheeler. You ladies and gentlemen assured me and made me feel competent from the very start--even when I got in over my head on 'The Can Opener' (which turned out to be the biggest adrenalin rush after completing!). Trust your spotter!---lesson learned. :) I know these events must take A LOT of work but ya'll made it look easy. I really appreciate your efforts and we will definitely be returning for next year's CRAWL! THIS is the reason I bought a cruiser!!!

PS: Winning the tires at Saturday night's raffle was just icing on the cake! Thanks to all the sponsors who donated to this event. Mark and Georg--you guys are something special.

Thanks to one and all!

Pam and I had a great time and the BBQ was great. The SCC isn't an event, it's family.
Thanks! N

Well lifes back to normal... Sitting in a AP waiting to travel.
Folks events for us turned into a family reunion that you look forward to.
Showing weds and sitting up we brought no rigs..... Yeap NONE to a wheeling event and had a blast!!!

Thanks to the folks who gave us seats and big thanks to those that gave a rig....!

CLC- great job.... Event seemed easy!
Bayou State- food was spot on!!!
Jes- food hit the spot and later as I was playing cards.

Here is a link to the photos I took.

I only got out once with the group on the trail. About 1/2 of these are crappy iPhone shots too.

Either way, I was having so much fun I was not worrying too much about taking pictures!

That was pretty Cool, Hats off to the both of You!

thanks for the kind words guys. butch is one of the big reasons why i come to these events. he warmly welcomed me to the lslc roundup 5 years ago and he won't be able to get rid of me easily. i had the pleasure of sitting next to him at dinner and the raffle. the fridge came up and the first # called was off by 6 from butch's. the next one was off by 4. the following # was the same as butch's except for the last two being switched. he was kinda bummed out and kept saying "i'd love to have that fridge. so when nobody answered the last call, one more ticket got pulled. i had purchased a couple of tickets for the special raffle and guess what, my # got called. butch said "damn" and i turned around and said "you really want that fridge, don't you?!" then i handed him the ticket and said "that's the winner". he looked at me for a second, don't think he really understood what i meant. then i told him to go get his fridge.........i already own one and charles ( whom i was riding with ) had one in his truck at the event. so it was an easy call......
thanks again for everything butch, much appreciated!
