replacements

*Some people* luck up and find some nice replacement fenders every once in a while :)

 R

And when they pick the fender up, there is usually something under it....like a $100 bill, a 5 speed, or a diesel engine.

Updated post above - Lancer sold to the first person to look at it :bounce:.

Do you have to get a 69 inspected?? I'm guessing it needs some work to be made road legal.

I was over at the NC Surplus Equipment office this morning and there's an 80 over there with 160k on the odometer - body and interior were very good. No price on it - I think you have to submit a bid on it. There's a badge on the fender that says something like "Collectors Edition" or something like that.

Ramon - if you're still looking it might be worth heading over there.

Where is this??

Raleigh - near NC State I think. Not too familiar with the area but I took Rt 40S to 54 (Hillsborough St), left at the top of the ramp and it's like 1 mi on the Right - there's a bunch of confiscated cars in front and some ex-cop cars in back of them - pretty easy to find.

I checked this website, but nothing appeared for Toyota or Land Cruiser

https://www.ncstatesurplus.com/ssp/public/classifieds.asp

Could be on a different site???

Not sure how up to date the website is but the truck is definitely there - or at least it was as of noon time. It's dark green and right there when you go through the gate by the guard shack. It had an auction sheet on the windshield so I'm pretty sure it's still available.

So I spoke to the gentleman w/ the brown 40 Andrew posted on the previous page and he was very nice and willing to share all the info on the truck. He bought it sight unseen 4 years ago in TN for 14k and has since put another 5k into it. New water pump, power steering pump/box, oem wheels, exhaust, mirrors, etc. Has hard top and doors and is ready to drive today. Was once blue... engine bay is por 15'd and only under dash can you find the blue. Has just over 100k miles.

He wants $10,000 and is reasonably firm on the price. He has lots of pictures as well.

4 wheel disc master cylinder

I have the brake master cylinder from my FJ40 trail rig for sale. It works great, just removed it when I went to a Chevy master cylinder to go with the Chevy axles. It is a single resevoir Toyota master cylinder for use with 4 wheel disc brakes, bolts directly to FJ40 brake booster. I can post pics soon. $50
