Rough and ready. I know there is an engine where I bought my FJ40. It is a whole parts rig. I bet you could get the whole truck for about 1K. He is in New Hill.

I'll dig for his e-mail

Thanks i didnt expect finding one on here would be such a hassle but your the only one who knows of any. I dont think i can afford a whole parts rig right now i was just trying to find a motor to get mine running again but maybe i'll be able to get just the motor out of him.thnks again

Zack.....

I might be able to finagle one out of a local non member for +/- $100 but it would likely need a rebuild which would likely run you 500-1000 depending on what is needed inside. But you have a motor in need of rebuild anyways so i dont know if it would help you out any other than being a 2F. Did you get in touch w/ the guy w/ the 60 posted above?

good luck, and my offer still stands if you decide to part with her; give me a shout

Have you shopped around for a rebuild? might not be a bad way to go vs selling at a loss and buying another car perhaps

I saw a couple of V8 Swap kits for sale. They might still be out there in the classifieds. You can get a decent 350 for nothing these days. They are all over Craigslist.

You can get a good, late model, fuel-injected V8 cheap these days.

i need a LSVP for my 96. Dealership only item, so i figured i'd see if anyone had one laying around before i went to toyota

thanks

Contact Chris at Fred Anderson Toyota Parts (919) 787-0099 tell him you are with ONSC, they will likely even ship the part to you.

yeah, i was curious to see if i could find one off here a little cheaper than the dealership price...

I agree with calling Fred Anderson if buying new. You can have it in a day or two. The other option is to check the local junk yards and see if you can pick one up. There is a junk yard in Durham that had an 80 in October. I doubt LSPV's are real high demand parts.

You can do a junk yard search around NC with car-part.com. The LSPV isn't on the parts list, but try something more generic like starter, axle, etc. to find yards with 80's (and LX450's). Then you can call them to see if they will sell you the LSPV. Of course it pays to shop around... You may find it is cheaper to buy from Fred Anderson and mail it to you.

Call Rick at RHT. Number is in my sig. 25% off OEM parts for Ih8mud members.

Just as an fyi, Chris @ Fred Anderson in Raleigh is a supporter of ONSC and gives us at least 25% off Toyota list.

OEM Wheels

Anyone have four OEM wheels preferably alloy that will fit my cruiser for cheap? See sig for rig!!!

If you are interested in a skinny non-OEM look, I will have five American Racing Outlaw II wheels available tomorrow or the next day. I'm going back to the vintage look on my truck. I'm thinking about $35/wheel?
These are 15x8 wheels...same as the set I sold a year ago or so.

Barry, you may want to check with him, if these are going on the 80 then I would say shy away from trying to use 15" wheels. I know Stephen has and they have worked fine but.....
