I have a 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60, with no motor, for sale as a parts car. I have the title for it and I’m working up a price, but wanted to get the ball rolling. I’ve run out of time to complete my rebuild, and my life has changed to the point that I can no longer proceed. Here are the details:
The front knuckles have been recently rebuilt with the Marlin kit, and have zero miles on them. I’ve installed new OEM Toyota brake disks, as well as all new wheel studs during the knuckle rebuild process. I’ve also installed new sway bar end links (SOR) and have the complete 555 Tie Rod end kit and Old Man Emu steering stabilizer from Cruiser Outfitters. Please note that I have not installed the Tie Rod ends or the stabilizer; I’ve just received the parts when it became apparent that I am running out of time to complete the build.
The glass is good, as is the frame. The interior is a bit rough and there are some dents in the sheet metal, so please have a close look at the photos. The 4 speed manual transmission and transfer case is included; the drive train is there, except for the engine. There are 258,000 miles on the odometer and the sheet metal from the front has been removed to allow access to the front end; I do have the front clip quarter panels, but the right front inner and outer fenders have been dented, as is the front right side of the radiator support. Full disclosure: this is a parts truck, with a brand new knuckle rebuild, sway bar end links, steering stabilizers, tie rod ends, and brake rotors.
The FJ60 is in Charlotte, NC, and must be picked up from my storage warehouse, so please bring whatever special tools you need to do that. It is a “roller” but please remember that neither the Tie Rods nor the steering stabilizers are installed. I’ve tried to be as comprehensive as possible, but please PM me if you have any specific questions.
Thanks
