cruiser rob? at Holy Cross City?

a 1960 fj25
I can't really tell what trail that is. Some of the old guys in the Rising Sun will know.

There are some more pics on the old trip report section and this one from the spring creek fathers day run that Zepp leads every year.

1961 Toyota FJ25 Land Cruiser Photographs. High Resolution, Wallpapers, Destop Images.

"The Toyota Land Cruiser had a long and venerable history. Originally designed for military use, they arrived in the US for civilian-consumption in 1960 and became favorites for off-roading enthusiasts.
The 1961 Land Cruiser had a 237.3 cubic-inch 6-cylinder 135 horsepower engine with a three-speed transmission. These multi-purpose vehicles offered short and long base vehicles with rear seats that folded for more cargo space. They had superb driving stability, powerful brakes and sturdy axles.
'Power-economy-durability' was the advertising slogan in 1961.
Between 1961 and 1965 the Land Cruiser was the best selling Toyota model in the United States.
- The Land Cruiser, introduced in 1958, was one of the first models sold by Toyota Motor Sales, USA Inc. A total of 249 vehicles were sold in 1961.
- The Land Cruiser (then called the 'Model BJ') was first tested in 1951, climbing the sixth station of Mt. Fuji - the first motor vehicle to accomplish this drive.
- This model was also available with a canvas top.
- The Land Cruiser is the only model that has been sold every year since Toyota has been in the United States.
- The Land Cruiser was the best-selling Toyota in the U.S. between 1961 and 1965."

Cheers

That's a very interesting set of pictures for a lot of reasons.

The b-pillar caught me eye. It almost looks like the pillar is not removeable but continuous with the body. Do you have higher res pictures Johnny, is there a seam there?

one thing that looks weird is the door only goes down as far as a soft door not a hard door. Looks like the 25 in the brochure a page back.

thats the highest resolution I have...i did try to alter the pic and adjust ballance in photoshop....and...i think you are correct...the boor bow is not removable.

here is the rendering of that same type rig...but...with a Fire/Police Rig Theme

and 2 that we have seen before...but at colser look all three of these rigs have different bows ...look at the rear bow

I think it was alot of trial and error...and the wide bow didnt get the cut :)

the bottom one even has an inward slope to it
