After years of lurking on the FJC forum and some time logged participating I actually enjoy the clubhouse aspect over here on mud much better but I think that is because I got to meet everyone before hand. I really only check the LA section on the blue room anyway so this kind of narrowed it down for me. I kind of burned myself out on all of the other stuff but I do still check back from time to time to do research if I have any questions. I feel the FJC forum can be very cliquish at times but still a great specific resource for the FJ Cruisers.

Well, that is a MAJOR difference between the blue room and MUD.....the blue room is dedicated to one specific vehicle so there is more info there and more mod ideas. MUD is a wealth of info for many Toyotas so not as much specific info for the FJC but it is the best venue for the clubhouse setting.

I'm @ Pull a Part. Does anybody need anything?

I doubt they have an FJC there, but just in case, I still need a passenger front fender flare!

No fjc's. But I'll let u know when one arrives.

Anybody know what jeep hooks Brad "tin can" used for his cargo mod?

Brian, let me know if they have any F250's there......say '99 - '06. I am looking for the passenger side fog light bracket (and light if not damaged) that mount inside the lower grill. Also looking for some interior bits. Thanks.

In his thread on FJCruiserforums he just says from a Grand Cherokee. Same thing from his coat hanger / D Ring thread.....Grand Cherokee. HTH.

Mike, I'll keep an eye out. These trucks are really picked apart. Thanks for the info on the jeep. I can't search very easily on my phone. Found a bunch of d rings. Ons from a saab look to be the best.

Today we were invited to join Northshore 4X4 in a Mardi Gras parade ride on Mardi Gras Day in Covington. Here is the email that Chris sent out to the NS4X4 members. As I get more info, I will let you know. Please let me know if you are interested in riding.

We were invited to participate in the Mardi Gras day Lions Club parade in Covington again this year. Those of us who participated last year had a geat time. We were wanting to guage interest before confirming. A few things we learned from last year's ride:

*You will need throws....some of us had lots and lots and some had limited throws. Candy , beads, stuffed animals, etc

*Last year we paid a "per club" fee - this year it will be "per vehicle". It's very reasonable....we are asking minimum of $10 per vehicle . The proceeds help the Lions Club with their local charity work .

*Children can ride in trailers pulled behind vehcles, but an adult must be on the trailer with them. parade rule.

*We recommend having more than just the driver - hard to throw and keep up with only the driver.

The parade is Tuesday, Mardi Gras day, February 21, 2012 10 am. line up starts early 8 am.
