Well I decided to wait and see how much glare I will get after I convert to HIDs on the roof before purchasing a hood decal. I did however just purchase the Rocktek link armor to replace the OSA armor that Kevin donated to my cause. That means Lee is up on deck for the OSA. Lee if you want to pick a day, we can swap them from my truck to your truck when I install my new ones.

Brian, I hope you strapped Captain to that snow board before you sent him down the hill. :D BTW, do you ever fricken work?? Bastard!!

Jonas, good idea to wait and see. You might also see what Joey would charge you to cut the white one out or if he could let you "borrow" a piece of matte white to get a better idea.

One thing you could try Jonas is just using some paper and taping it to the hood to see what it does. If you want I have a ton of plots 36x48 in my office that have errors or something, it's just scrap paper, so of you don't have anyone with bi pieces I an get you some eventually.

Thanks guys. I have considered a few different options. I may see what Joey could do for me and I also have an employee with a vinyl wrap connection. If it's cheaper to get it done locally I will. I think I am just going to do the black when I get around to it. I found several photos of the white and I just can't decide if I like it or not and it also seems to be questionable whether or not it actually helps.

From a glare standpoint, everything is an improvement over silver metallic

I work plenty! But not nearly what I used to back at MGW. :grinpimp:

Captain wouldn't stay on the sled so we made him tow them back to the car. Dog sled training...

I'm going to spray my hood with plastidip. If I don't like it, I'll just peel it off. :)

Spoken like a true CY member.......

Next you'll be using terms like derp and all that other crazy talk that I am too old (apparently) to follow. :meh:

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to mount a fire extinguisher in the back of my FJC without purchasing an M-PAC? Here is the mount I am using.

 It'll look great strapped to the cage in Hachi......does that help?

I would like to see this. If it turns out well I will have a new project. I have not had very good experience with plastidip so far. I have only used it on small things but it always seems to peel off rather quickly. It might be the person applying it and not the product itself however.

^ Nothing wrong with that ^

You could use the same mounting points on the other side as the MPAC does, but just use some flatbar between them. I've seen a couple DIY versions like this. Also gives some room for a small pouch or something else.

I believe that Layton did this
