I had run the same ideas, and was going with a drop floor to have room to stand up inside

I am looking at running a 6ft x 13ft x 6ft trailer, I am going to place two 52" x 72" beds on the floor with a 24" x 72" walk way in between them. I am going to place a bunk bed above the forward bed with about 36" of space between them. This will allow me to sleep the entire family of 5. I will also be running a Galley off the back as well.

I need to make some drawings of this.

is this trailer going to be wheeled off road road too, and if so what kind of trail you thinking, sorry if i missed that.
cheers chappy

That upper bed is kinda funny looking. Could two not sleep down low? It is 5 feet wide. My wife would never sleep up top like that. Claustrophobic comes to mind...

I like your sketch up though. But I would use the upper part for storage.

Yeah if he airs down that blowup doll it will find space somewhere else. ;)

Neat Trailer......

Something like this perhaps link

Hard top but opens up like a soft top. But, no drawers or cabinets inside though.

the sketchup shows the trailer 4 ft instead of 5. the upper bunk would be for our two daughters (2 and 4) The upper bunk would also lay down to make a couch type area for movies or whatever.

trailer in the last link would be cool. prob. more portable. I want insulated and water proof. Something to be warm in the fall/spring, something dry when it rains, ect.

as for the blow up doll....whatever...

the bottom bunk will hold a regular queen size mattress, the upper will be 5' by 5', plenty of room untill the girls get old enough that camping isn't "cool"
